Repair a corrupted JPEG photo (.jpg)
A JPEG starts with a header (size, colour tables) and then compressed picture data written top to bottom. If the file is cut short, the top of the photo is still there; viewers just refuse to show it because the end marker is missing.
What our repair does
- Remove junk data before the start of the image
- Restore a damaged start marker
- Close cut-off photos so every viewer opens them (the missing bottom shows grey)
The check and preview are free. The repaired file costs $4.99.
